The 5th Annual Research Showcase hosted by the Neuroscience Minor and the Department of Biology will be held Thursday Feb 21st and Friday Feb 22nd. Headline speaker, Dr. John Godwin (North Carolina State University, Biological Sciences), will be speaking about the Biology of Changing Sex on Thursday Feb 21st at at 4pm in Bryant Hall 111: "Sex lives beneath the waves: What they didn't tell you about in "Finding Nemo" Poster presentations created by undergraduates, graduates, and faculty in neuroscience and related fields will be presented in the Bryant Hall Gallery Thursday Feb 21st from 11am to 4pm. From 12:15 to 1:00 pm a talk from Dr. Lais Berros from UMMC will be telecast in Bryant Hall Rm 111 and TCRC Rm 1018: "The crack of dawn: Understanding the relationship between drug abuse and sleep" On Friday Feb 22nd Dr. John Godwin will give a research talk, "Neuroendocrine Regulation of Sexual Plasticity" from 2-3pm in Shoemaker 303.
