UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES


The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Chad Lefkowitz-Brown is one of the most exciting jazz saxophonists performing today. His engaging style and huge talent keep his concert schedule full.

Don't miss his free performance Saturday, March 23rd in Nutt Auditorium at 1:30 pm. 

Lefkowitz-Brown is coming to UM to teach and perform as part of the North American Saxophone Alliance Conference occurring on campus March 22-24.  Check out the other public events happening this weekend, including: Wind Ensemble Concert Friday the 22nd at 7:30 at the Ford Center (tickets $10/$5); classical saxophonist Nikita Zimin performing in Nutt Auditorium Saturday the 23rd at 4:00 pm (free); and the LOU Symphony Orchestra and the Mississippians Jazz Ensemble in concert with special guest artists Saturday night, March 23rd at 7:30 pm (tickets $10/$5).

All these events are eligible for Mus100/103 credit.
