Spend two weeks in Dubrovnik, Croatia – the “pearl of the Adriatic” – studying the issues of international cooperation and conflict. Positioned on the stunning Dalmatian coast, Dubrovnik is a medieval walled city that will lend itself to the study of international security, cooperation, and policy – from the wars of the 1990s to the expansion of NATO and the EU. As part of the program, we will travel to multi-confessional Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina – where the spires of Catholic cathedrals, Orthodox churches, and mosques dot the skyline. Course: "Security and Cooperation in Southeastern Europe."
