UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Sonic Explorations is a chamber music series Adrienne Park launched in 2013 at the University of Mississippi. Central to concert events is the use of multi-media—projected film, art and poetry—with unique lighting designs and innovative stage positioning. This series shines a spotlight on University of Mississippi faculty, students, and musicians from within the region.

 

Themed concerts focus on a genre, region, or set of composers, exploring the sound world of that theme. Concert 8 features artwork and compositions created by women who are innovators within their respective fields as composers, film directors, performers, sound artists, authors, illustrators, recording artists, and painters.
