The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

The Office of Sustainability needs your help sorting the last home game’s recycling on November 25.

Each week following a home game, students volunteer their time to sort the recycling collected from the game.  After the Missouri game, students will be on Thanksgiving break, so we are reaching out to faculty and staff to help!

Sorting recycling is a messy, but important job.  Volunteers usually find the work to be fun and meaningful.  Have you ever wondered what happens to the plastic bottle you put in the recycling bin?  Come join us and see for yourself. No previous experience with recycling required!

When:  Monday, November 25, 12:00 p.m. – 3 p.m. (Yes, you can leave early if you need to.)

Where:  Oxford Recycling Center, off of County Road 321 (Pea Ridge Road).  We will meet at noon to caravan to the Recycling Center from the Ford Center parking lot.

What you should wear:

  • Clothes you can get dirty, closed toe shoes, long pants
  • We will provide gloves
