UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES


The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Disability History Month - Disability as Identity

Invitation: Disability History Month workshop on Disability as Identity led by Dr. Anjali Forber-Pratt, from Vanderbilt University.

Dr. Anjali Forber-Pratt is a professor in Vanderbilt's Department of Human and Organizational Development and serves as a member of Vanderbilt's Kennedy Center for Research on Human Development.  She is also a 2008 Paralympic bronze medalist in wheelchair racing.  Disability identity development is among Dr. Forber-Pratt's areas of research, and we are excited to have her lead a workshop on this important topic.
