UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Alysia Steele is an assistant professor of Multiple Platform Journalism and the author of Delta Jewels:  In Search of My Grandmother's Wisdom.  Her work has been featured in The New York Times, NBC.com, USA Today, Chicago Sun-Times, National Public Radio, Free Lance-Star, The Clarion-Ledger and Southern Living.
