Jean Jones was a dedicated, enthusiastic member of the University and Oxford community, and a true advocate for all Ole Miss students. Dr. Jones lost her battle with cancer in the spring of 1997 and since that time, the annual Jean Jones Walk/Run for Cancer has celebrated her life and the many others affected by cancer.
