Louis Armstrong said it best: "Jazz is jazz." On November 8th, the jazz ensembles will perform together and show you what it's all about!
The program will include several pieces by legendary music producer, composer, and trumpeter, Quincy Jones.
Nancy Maria Balach, a member of the music department’s voice faculty, will join the Mississippians for a few selections that were originally arranged for Ella Fitzgerald and the Count Basie Orchestra.
