The Office of the Dean of Students offers sincere appreciation for the sacrifices that have been made in defense of our freedoms and for the safety and security of our country. It is very special to have men and women of character and discipline as part of the University of Mississippi students, faculty and staff.
In recognition of their service, a special reception will be held on Monday, November 5th, at 6:00 p.m. in the rehearsal studio of The Gertrude Ford Center for the Performing Arts. This reception is free and open to the public to honor those veterans associated with the University.
Following the reception, please join us for a concert by the U.S. Navy Jazz Band in the Ford Center performance hall. Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Brandi Hephner LaBanc, will offer special greetings to veterans and all branches of the services will be recognized during the playing of each branch's song.
