The University of Mississippi Wind Ensemble, conducted by David Willson, is the premiere wind band at the University. Consisting of fifty to sixty performers, the Wind Ensemble performs the very highest level of wind band literature. The Wind Ensemble consists of graduate students, music majors and non-majors and annually tours Mississippi High Schools. The Wind Ensemble performed at the College Band Directors Southern Regional Conference in February 2010.
