UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Conservation Observation Week

During the week of April 15, conservator Amy Abbe will be working on ancient marble heads from the David M. Robinson Collection of Greek and Roman Art. This is her second annual visit! Work will be performed in the recently renovated Mary Buie galleries.

We invite anyone with an interest in the process to please stop by for the public viewing and Q&A sessions during one of the scheduled times listed below.

Following her week-long residency, Amy Abbe will give a short talk on Thursday, April 18 at 5:30pm about her work on the ancient marble heads, as well as reveal her process on two ancient Greek vases, also from the Robinson Collection.
