Part of the 45th Annual World Championship Old-Time Piano Playing Contest and Festival, the silent movie box lunch is an audience favorite. Three classic comedy shorts, shown on the big screen, with live piano accompaniment -- a fun opportunity to experience silent movies like an audience from 100 years ago.
Award-winning pianist Adam Swanson performs on piano, bringing all his training, timing, and love of this classic movie genre.

Come for the Silent Movie Box Lunch Saturday at 11:45, and stay for the preliminary round of competition from some of the country's finest old-time piano players, which will take place in Nutt Auditorium from 1:00-5:00.
