UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Conversations on Down Syndrome with Professionals

Where: University of Mississippi, 209 Bryant Hall 

When: Saturday August 10th, 1:00 – 5:00 pm

What: informal lectures and conversations with professionals on various issues related to (special) education, language development, medical challenges, and behavioral issues. Additionally, families that have made great contributions to the Down syndrome community and led by example will share with us their inspirational stories. 

We will close the workshop with a reception.

Who: open to families and caregivers of individuals diagnosed with Down syndrome and the general public

Attendance: Free, individuals with Down syndrome invited, childcare provided
