UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Best Method to Embed Video into a Blackboard Course

Blackboard is not a video streaming server. For this reason, videos should never be uploaded directly into Blackboard. Instead, we recommend uploading videos to Google Drive and then embedding links to the videos within a Blackboard course. This optimizes the video stream while still giving students a way to view the video directly within Blackboard. This brief session will walk you through the steps to embed videos successfully.
