The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

General Information:

  • Text message reminders will be sent out using the phone number you provide in your registration. This will be our primary way of communicating with you regarding shuttle service. By registering for shuttle service, you opt-in to receive these text alerts.

  • Shuttles will depart campus every half hour, at :00 and :30 from 8:00 to 6:30 pm.

  • Shuttles will return to campus every half hour, at :15 and :45 from 8:15 to 8:00 pm.

  • Polls close at 7:00 pm. You must be in line by 7:00 pm to vote. Shuttle will be available to return students to campus until 8:00 pm. No one will be stranded at the polls. 

  • Anticipate long lines at the polls, as turnout is expected to be large and social distancing efforts aim to keep those waiting 6 ft apart. Come prepared to wait, bring patience (and a friend), and anticipate 1-1.5 wait time, depending on the time of day. If you may miss class, please let your professors know beforehand and make arrangements to make up any missed work or assignments.

  • Don’t forget to bring your photo ID - your driver’s license, passport, or UM student ID card!
