The LOU Symphony Orchestra presents a free, online concert Tuesday, December 1st at 7:30 pm. Recorded in late October using safety protocols like masks and distancing, the concert features
- two works by noted composer Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate -- one for full symphony and one for string quartet -- with video introductions from the composer himself
- a rare duet for cello and bass; a trio for flute, oboe, and clarinet; and a flute quartet
- accomplished musicians from Oxford and Tupelo high school orchestras joining the performance of Tate's symphonic work, Chokfi'
