UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Interested in learning to play ukulele? In this 30-minute workshop, we'll talk about the different kinds of ukuleles and then learn a four-chord song. We will show you how to form four chords and will use a simple strum to get everyone started on their journey. Materials will be provided to registrants before the workshop and chord shapes will be demonstrated for soprano/concert/tenor ukulele. 

Workshop will be led by Assistant Dean for Technical Services and Professor, Gail Herrera, sponsored by UM Libraries IDEAlab.
