The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Title: A "Threat in the Air": How Stereotypes Affect Our Students' Learning and What We Can Do About It.

 

Robin Paige is the director of the Center for Teaching Excellence at Rice University where she also holds appointments as an Associate Teaching Professor and an Adjunct Professor of Sociology. Roboin received her doctorate in Development Sociology from Cornell University and has taught at a wide variety of educational institutions from the community college to land grant and private research universities. She has presented at colleges, universities, and professional organizations on topics related to the sociality of learning. At Rice University she teaches courses on pedagogy and the sociology of gender.
