The Black Alumni Professionals Forum is a collaboration between the Men of Excellence (MOX) and the Career Center. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for underrepresented students to expand their social capital by connecting with successful alumni professionals in their respective career fields.
We polled students to determine which occupations would be represented. Based on the feedback received, we have assembled an outstanding group of alumni who work in the fields of education, law enforcement, theatre and film, technology, law, social work, and a variety of health care professions.
The virtual forum will take place on March 25 from 6 pm until 7:30 pm and the format of the program is as follows:
6:00 -Welcome and Introduction of alumni participants
6:10- General Career Panel Discussion with 5-6 alumni, moderated by a member of MOX
6:45- Industry and/or Career-Specific breakout sessions with students and alumni representatives
7:20 -Closing Remarks
