Spring Small Group Training Session III: Functional Fitness Circuit Training

Description: This three week program will be a mix of strength training and cardiovascular training using interval based circuits. Participants will learn how to properly use functional training equipment such as kettlebells, battle ropes, sandbags and more while also learning non-traditional lifting variations of lunges, squats, presses, and rows. There will also be a conditioning component added in with non-traditional cardio equipment like the speedmill and ski-ergs. The overall goal for this program is to teach new and returning participants training options that are tailored towards improving activities of daily living for all fitness levels. Sessions will be an hour long, and the group will meet twice a week in the Turner Center Vault.
