UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

The School of Pharmacy and RIPS will host a Research Day at the Jackson Avenue Center (JAC) Main Event Center on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. This is a forum for all UM faculty, staff and students conducting biomedical research to share their research interests, expertise, and projects and to foster collaboration with other UM investigators. Biomedical research includes basic, clinical, translational, and population health research related to the prevention and treatment of disease. It also includes the genetic and environmental factors related to disease and health in people and in animals.

Posters will be available for viewing from 12:00-4:00pm, with poster presentations from 1:30-3:30pm. Refreshments will be served starting at 1pm.

A free shuttle service will be available in front of the Thad Cochran Research Center/JAC from 12pm to 5pm.
