National Coming Out Day was first observed on October 11, 1988, on the anniversary of the National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights as a reminder of the power of coming out at LGBTQIA+.
On National Coming Out Day, come listen to UM community members share their own stories, perspectives, and experiences on and with the idea of coming out as we celebrate the courage that comes with living authentically, in all the ways and spaces we do.
The presentation will last approximately 45 minutes, with a reception after. All are welcome!
