UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Group Fitness Instructor Prep Course  

September 10th - November 20th| Tuesdays 3:30-5 pm

  • The objective of this course is to prepare prep course students in feeling confident teaching many different modalities of group fitness, to deliver a quality experience to their future class participants, prepare to take and pass their ACE certification exam and potentially audition to become a group fitness instructor with Ole Miss Campus Recreation. The course will provide base knowledge in group fitness fundamentals, class preparation and design, elements of leading various classes and much more! An online blackboard class will also be utilized for the course information and assignments, along with in person meetings.
