The 4th Annual Research Showcase hosted by the Neuroscience Minor and the Department of Biology will be held on Friday, April 6th. Poster presentations will be shown in the Centennial Auditorium Atrium of the Thad Cochran Research Center from 10a-5p. Short talks by faculty and students will be in Rm 1000 of the Thad Cochran Research Center from 10am -12 noon. At 2pm in Shoemaker 303, our headline speaker, Dr. Alexander Ophir (Cornell University, Dept of Psychology), will be speaking about the Neuroscience of Monogamy. Dr. Ophir will also be giving a community oriented talk April 5th, 4 p.m. in 129 Lamar Hall as part of Brain Awarness Week activities. The Research Showcase will wind down with a presentation by Dr. Donna Platt, Director of the UMMC graduate program in neuroscience from 3:15-4pm in Shoemaker 303.
