Croft Institute Lecture: 'The National Security Archive: Forensic History and the Fight Against Government Secrecy'
Event Description:

Michael Evans is a 10-year veteran of the National Security Archive, an organization that has long been at the forefront of efforts to expose the hidden history of U.S. foreign policy and on the front lines of the fight against government secrecy. As director of the Archive's Colombia Documentation Project, Evans uses the Freedom of Information Act and archival research to document the making of American policy toward Colombia and to press for the declassification of critical evidence on the human rights atrocities, corruption and official impunity that have long plagued Colombia.
