The Ladies I Love . . .
A Club SarahFest Cabaret
Starring Blake McIver Ewing
Friday 15 October
7:30 in the UM Band Hall
Admission is free and there will be food!
Blake McIver Ewing takes the stage to send out a musical love letter to some of his favorite female voices. "It's a night of songs by female artists I love and respect," he says, "from Barbra Streisand and Carole King to Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys." Amanda Johnston joins Ewing on piano.
A Club SarahFest show, the Cabaret is presented by the Department of Music, Sarah Isom Center for Women and Gender Studies, and Living Music Resource.
Ewing is UM Music's Fall 2021 Artist in Residence, and is hard at work directing the upcoming production of The Light in the Piazza. The incredibly talented Ewing is also an actor, producer, singer, and songwriter, and we're thrilled to have him at UM Music this fall – don't miss this chance to see him perform!
