UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Mississippi is hosting an Astronomy Creative Writing Contest. Participants can either submit a Poem or a Short Story or both and each will be judged by a panel of judges. There are exciting prizes to win!

The reading and prize distribution will take place between 7:00 and 8:30 pm on Sunday, October 13th, 2024 in Lewis Hall. Everyone is welcome to come and listen to the contestants.
