UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

The Ole Miss African Drum and Dance Ensemble, directed by Dr. George Worlasi Kwasi Dor, presents "You Are an Eagle, Stretch Your Hands and Soar Up High!" -- a free concert in Nutt Auditorium at 7:30 on Thursday, April 18th.

The concert features Ghanaian dances -- Tokoe, Gahu, Bamaaya, and Kpatsa -- as well as original compositions and choreography.

The ensemble will be joined by guest artists Effie Burt, Ashly Lovorn, and Austin Brook, voice; David Woolworth, bass guitar; Katie Ashby, flute, and; Alex Urbina, violin.
