UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Faculty Recital Series: Brass and Wind Quintets

Invitation: In their first joint performance, the two quintets will play separately before a finale of two pieces for all 10 players. Wed 4/24 7:30.

The Faculty Brass Quintet and the Faculty Woodwind Quintet will present a joint recital on Wednesday, April 24 at 7:30 pm in Nutt Auditorium.

This is the first time the two groups have joined forces, and the program will include two pieces for all 10 players, one by Vincent Persichetti and the other by Robert Washburn. The woodwind and brass quintets will also play, separately, works by Bernstein, Rota and others.
