UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Kayak Thursdays

Ole Miss Outdoors: Kayak Thursdays are 7pm-9pm in the Turner Center pool. Must be a student or active Turner Center member to participate in this free clinic.

Details: FREE! Must be an enrolled student or active Turner Center member to participate.
If you are interested in learning how to roll a whitewater kayak, OMOD instructors will guide you through the progression of learning this fundamental skill. If you already have your roll, come out and enjoy the time to practice or jump into a game of kayak water polo.  Kayaks are provided or you may bring your own. We also offer boat demonstrations for white water kayaks, flat water kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddle boards.  These free clinics are designed to get you comfortable in a boat.
