UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Le Grand Voyage (2004), French/Arabic, English subtitles, 108 mins.  A devout father asks his son, Reda, to accompnay him on the hajj to Mecca.  He insists, however, that they drive instead of fly-- from southern France.  According to tradition, prophet Abraham and Ishamael built the 'house'-- or, ka`ba-- of Mecca.  In the film, father and son also travel through France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Syria, and Jordan.
