UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Amanda Johnston and Michael Rowlett join forces for an evening of music for clarinet and piano, featuring works both familiar and unfamiliar. The program will begin with Polish composer Witold Lutoslawski’s witty, lively Dance Preludes, followed by two highly individualistic works by Canadian composers Violet Archer and Oskar Morawetz. The second half will include a set of pieces for clarinet solo based on familiar melodies by George Gershwin and will conclude with Brahms’ rich, meditative E-flat major sonata. Join us for an evening of colorful, varied music!
