UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Astronomy Open House: Viewing of the Moon and more through the telescopes of Kennon Observatory. Free; families welcome. Only if the sky is not cloudy!

We are offering a viewing with the telescopes of Kennon Observatory on Sunday, Feb. 25, from 6:30 to 8:30.

None of the planets offers a view this time, but the Moon is great. We might also be looking at the Orion Nebula, and double stars as well.

The event is weather permitting, only held if the sky is not cloudy. Free; families are welcome!
