The J.D. Williams Library invites you to attend special product demonstrations of the digital platform for the University of Mississippi Institutional Repository (UMIR). On campus demonstrations by the two finalists will be held next week on Tuesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 8.
Each vendor will make a demonstration of their product’s capabilities in the J.D. Williams Library’s Faulkner Room from 3:00-4:00 p.m. The demonstrations will be followed by a question and answer session, and are open to all faculty, staff and students. Members of the university community are encouraged to attend and participate in the session, and will be asked to provide feedback following the presentations.
UMIR is a central, digital space where UM students, faculty and staff can deposit their scholarly and administrative output. This makes all data produced and collected by UM more freely available to university members and the world.
