UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Faculty Recital: Christine Kralik, Cello

Invitation: Christine Kralik in a recital for cello on Monday, Feb 24 in Nutt. She'll be joined by Adrienne Park on piano and Nave Graham on flute.

The UM Department of Music Faculty Recital Series presents Christine Kralik in a recital for cello -- Monday the 24th of February at 7:30 pm in Nutt Auditorium.

Kralik will begin with a suite for solo cello by Bach, then will play a Beethoven cello sonata with Adrienne Park on piano. Next she'll be joined by Nave Graham for a piece by Villa-Lobos for flute and cello, and she'll close with a Shostakovich sonata for cello and piano with Park.

If you heard Kralik at the February 4  performance of the First Tuesdays in Bryant Hall Noontime Music Series, you'll know how gorgeous her playing is -- her full recital will be an hour or so of equally beautiful music.

Tickets are $5/10, available at the UM Box Office or at the door.  If you'd like to enter our LUCKY TICKET CONTEST for a chance to win free tickets, email lwilkins@olemiss.edu by noon on Friday 2/21.
