Do you ever think about the things you write on social media? What the internet says about you could mean the difference in landing your dream job or being dismissed by a hiring manager.
Andrew Selepak, Ph.D., director of the social media master's program at the University of Florida, will visit the University of Mississippi School of Journalism and New Media Monday, March 2 at 2 p.m. to talk about job search issues that often arise regarding social media. If you are seeking a job or will be soon, you don't want to miss this event that will be held in the Overby Center Auditorium.
Some may also want to RSVP for a casual lunch in the Overby boardroom with Selepak prior to the event. Those interested in attending the lunch should email professor Jason Cain, Ph.D., to register. Spaces are limited. There is no charge, and food will be provided. Attendees are asked to come with questions.
