UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Do you want to make eye-popping graphics and images but don't know much about drawing? Remix instead! More and more things are passing out of copyright, or being released open-source and free-to-use, every day. This workshop will show you places to find freely available images and how to remix them into new and interesting artworks using free and open-source editing tools. 

Workshop will be led by Research & Instruction Librarian and Associate Professor Alex Watson, sponsored by UM Libraries IDEAlab
