WHOSE FREEDOM? WHOSE SPEECH?
Defining, discussing, and navigating free speech and hate in the 2020 election

Please join the Stronger Together Series and PEN America in a discussion on election eve about what defines protected and unprotected speech and how to use and navigate free-speech, especially after the presidential election.

PEN America stands at the intersection of literature and human rights to protect free expression in the United States and worldwide. We champion the freedom to write, recognizing the power of the word to transform the world. Our mission is to unite writers and their allies to celebrate creative expression and defend the liberties that make it possible.

The Stronger Together Dialogue Series seeks to provide opportunities for healing, effective allyship, and action that creates a better world.
