UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Invitation: The Mississippians perform Thursday 4/15 outside between the Music Building and Memory House. Bring a chair/blanket and soak up some jazz!

From Duke Ellington, Bill Evans, and Chick Corea to Charles Mingus, the Meters, and Radiohead -- the Mississippians and UM jazz combos treat you to a range of jazz in a free outdoor concert on the UM Campus.

Join us Thursday, April 15th at 7:30 between the Music Building and Memory House on University Avenue, bring a chair or blanket (and mask!), and settle in for some fantastic playing by the oldest continuosly operating college jazz program in the country!

The Mississippians are a full jazz ensemble with a tight, high energy sound that is so much fun. The show will also feature two combos to mix up the sound. 

Don't miss this opportunity to hear some amazing music in a great outdoor show.
