UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Faculty flute recital includes two world premieres

Invitation: Dr. Nave Graham performs four works that explore different qualities of the flute, featuring two in their world premiere performance. Free.

Nave Graham performs four works for solo flute, each of which explores the flute in a very different way.

Two of the four works are premières: UM Music faculty member Dr. Michael Gardiner's khoral(e) diagrams, and Om Srivastava's Sahana.

Graham will also perform Shirish Korde's Tenderness of Cranes, as well as André Jolivet's Cinq Incantations—which Graham says may be her favorite piece of all time for flute!

Admission is free.
