UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

We are excited to host the 2022 Lavender Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, April 28 at 4:30 PM at the Inn at Ole Miss Ballroom.

Lavender Graduation is a cultural celebration that recognizes the achievements and contributions of LGBTQIA+ students who have successfully navigated the college experience. During the ceremony will honor graduating students with lavender cords and this special moment in time. 

If you are graduating and would like to be recognized and receive lavender cords at the event, please complete this registration form:

The registration form will close on Thursday, April 21, 2022.

If you are not graduating and want to celebrate the accomplishments of our LGBTQIA+ graduating students, please join us at the event. All faculty, staff, students, families, and friends are welcome! We will have refreshments and a rainbow cake at the conclusion of the event.
