Arts and Culture: A new and unique music & art experience.

Sun

Oct

Join us for a reimagined song recital that integrates the creation of visual art into the experience. The audience will experience incredible music provided by pianist Price Walden and mezzo-soprano Alice-Anne Light and enjoy artist Kristy Kristinek painting blank canvases through the duration of the performance (57-minutes). Each time they perform this work, the paintings on the canvas result in a new and unique masterpiece. This work was born through feelings experienced during the pandemic and like many people have expressed, the need to reassess. This piece endeavors to give voice to this new reality.

This event is free and open to the public. Reserve your complimentary tickets before Sunday (limited seating) by contacting the UM Box Office at umbo@olemiss.edu, (662)915-7411, or visiting the Box Office in person.
