Join Adam Gussow (Professor of English and Southern Studies) and Greg Johnson (Head of Special Collections, Blues Curator, and Professor) in an end-of-semester celebration of the music of Alex Miller, better known as Sonny Boy Williamson II. Johnson will discuss Williamson’s life and spin original 78s of some of his songs, while Gussow will offer a blues harmonica player's perspective by blowing some tunes and commenting on Williamson’s style and his celebrated place within the tradition.
