TEDxUniversityofMississippi will hold its 8th Annual Event on February 23rd at 7 PM in the Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts. This year’s theme is Facing Forward. In the spirit of Ideas Worth Sharing, TEDxUniversityofMississippi will spotlight innovations and advancements of four of our university’s researchers, as well as thought leaders from other states. The evening will offer eight speakers, seven short talks, entertainment, and a lot to consider by the time it’s all over. Learn More! Follow us on social media @TEDxUnivMS

About
TEDxUniversityofMississippi is a group of student volunteers that create an event unlike any other. They share the wonder of Mississippi—it’s innovators, creators, and thinkers. They share ideas from outside Mississippi, which can impact Mississippians in a positive way. Annually, they share an evening of curated Talks to spark conversation in our community and beyond. A registered student organization, TEDxTeam volunteers are UMiss students who plan, market, mount, and wrap a TED-like event, working under license from TED and with oversight from license holder Kate Hooper. Our TEDx Talks are shared on the TEDx YouTube Channel free of charge. Learn More!
