We're screening three influential films from the 90s in the CICCE this semester! Come for one or come for all three. All films will be screened at 5:30pm in the CICCE (first floor of the Student Union).
First up next Tuesday, February 28, is "Selena." Released in 1997 and based on the true story of Tejano music star Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, the film stars Jennifer Lopez and Edward James Olmos. In 2021, it was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."
Later this semester:
Tuesday, March 28 - The Watermelon Woman (1996)
Tuesday, April 25 - Higher Learning (1995)
