UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Library: 50+ cookbooks and recipes from the archives dating from the 18th through the 21st centuries will be available to browse and photograph.

Archives & Special Collections Recipe Swap Open House

Wednesday, March 22nd from 11am to 3pm

Thursday, March 23rd from 11am to 3pm

Located on the 3rd floor of the J.D. Williams Library

 

A selection of 50+ cookbooks and manuscript recipes in the archives dating from the 18th through the 21st centuries will be available to browse. Photograph recipes which capture your interest and test them out at home!

Although not necessary, we invite you to bring and donate the following:

  • A copy of your own favorite family recipe(s) along with a brief written account of memories related to the recipe and its particular significance to your family.
  • Old cookbooks related to Mississippi and the South

 

When you are not browsing recipes, explore “The Southern Plate: An Archival Exhibition on Food”!
