UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Wednesday, April 26th from 11-12:30 pm, Shoemaker 225

Come join a discussion with Dr. Zanethia Barnett, a Research Fisheries Biologist from the US Forest Service, Center for Bottomland Hardwoods Research. Dr. Barnett got her Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi and is now working to better understand aquatic ecosystems with a special interest in crayfish. She will be giving a brief presentation about her career, followed by a Q and A session and free pizza! This event is hosted by the Biology SEEDS (Strategies for Ecology Education, Diversity and Strategies) club, and funded by SAF and ASB.
