The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

International Particle Physics Masterclass

Invitation: Learn about the basic building blocks of matter and investigate real data from particle physics experiments in a day of exploration and fun!

Physicists like to ask big questions. What makes up the matter in the universe? How did it form? What are fundamental particles and how do they interact? Particle physics seeks to explore some of these big questions using data from particle colliders, which produce "small bangs" that create high-energy environments similar to our universe at the earliest stages. During this international particle physics masterclass, attendees will learn about the basic building blocks of matter and investigate real data from cutting edge particle physics experiments. No background in physics is required and the event is free! Come join us for a day of exploration and fun!

Please register at, so we can ensure we have enough space for everyone. Lunch will be provided!
