Physicists like to ask big questions. What makes up the matter in the universe? How did it form? What are fundamental particles and how do they interact? Particle physics seeks to explore some of these big questions using data from particle colliders, which produce "small bangs" that create high-energy environments similar to our universe at the earliest stages. During this international particle physics masterclass, attendees will learn about the basic building blocks of matter and investigate real data from cutting edge particle physics experiments. No background in physics is required and the event is free! Come join us for a day of exploration and fun! Lunch will be provided!
